Updated HPF2 Science Applications

Greetings all,

We have recently updated the HPF2 science application. The BETA that was run a few weeks ago was confirmed by the researchers as being good. The new version will be 6.17 for all platforms. This latest version of HPF2 is to help decrease the number of Exit 1 status errors, people were getting on Windows.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Thanks you too.

Just grabbed 1, version 6.17 on ... Linux, guessing you've upped the release for all platforms.

Re: Updated HPF2 Science Applications

Hi,
I just wanted to add that I've verified a few proteins run with the new executable and they look good. Also, I'll update everyone with a status update soon, but I just wanted to add that I've sent IBM more work units. We're going to fold Chlamydomonas reinhardtii in the interim before we get to the microbiome project. It's a nice little single celled alga whose metabolism is being exploited to create clean sources of hydrogen.

Here's two pics of the beta results NG590 and NG592.

Thanks, Patrick. Are you also going to update your experiments table?

Regards,

Re: Updated HPF2 Science Applications

Lets see if Uplinger will show how the production figures work out after a few days running. The Beta test of nearly 11,000 results showed a reduction and shift from > 600 with error 401 to < 60 with the 401/711 errors. That was < 0.6%.
